For this tutorial you will need:
Materials in zip file here or use your own
Open a transparent image 650 x 450
Foreground Colour #819b49 Background Colour #cacf8f
Make a Foreground Background gradient with the following:
Rectangular - Angle 0, Repeats 0, Center Horizontal and Vertical=50 Both Focal Points=80
Flood fill your working image
Effects - Edge Effects Enhance. Repeat
Magic Wand, Inside checked. Click in the solid light green area
Copy and paste the selection as a New Layer. Duplicate. Leave the Selection
Highlight Raster 1. Apply Blinds Width=2, Opacity=28, Colour=Black, Nothing checked
Select None
Close Copy of Raster 2
Highlight Raster 2. Resize by 95%
Resize all layers unchecked. Selections Select All - Selections Float - Flood with a gold gradient
Linear - Angle 0, Repeats 0 - Invert not checked
Leave the selection
Selections - Modify Contract by 10
Flood fill with Foreground Colour (green)
Select None
On Raster 2 apply Effects, Distortion Effects Wave
All Settings at a value=1. Transparent checked
Change the Layer Opacity to 60. Layer Mode Luminance (L)
Effects Edge Effects, Enhance
Duplicate the wave layer - Image Mirror - Image Flip - Image resize by 50%
Use the mover tool to place in the bottom right corner
Adjust Sharpness - Sharpen
Unhide the top Layer. Resize by 85%. Resize All Layers unchecked
Apply Blinds, Width=2, Opacity=20, Horizontal checked, Colour Black
Apply a Drop Shadow of Vertical=1, Horizontal=3, Opacity 60, Blur 15, Colour Black
Same Layer. Selections Select All - Selections Float - Selections Modify - Unfeather with a value of 100
Leave the Selection. (This is handy for removing shadows from mists if necessary)
New Layer. Copy and paste the Butterfly into Selection
Leave the selection
Adjust Blur, Radial Blur, Twirl checked, Strength=50, Twirl=10, Elliptical checked. Horizontal Offset=5, Vertical Offset=5, Protect Center=0
Select None
Effects, Edge Effects - Enhance. Change the layer Opacity to 60
Copy and paste Butterfly as a New Layer
Use the mover tool and arrange the butterfly. See the Header tag
Apply Drop Shadow Vertical=1, Horizontal=8, Opacity=30, Blur=15, Colour Black
Duplicate the Butterfly layer
Highlight Raster 4 and apply Effects, Texture Effects, Fur
Blur=75, Density=65, Length=100, Transparency 5
Change the Layer Opacity to 50 and the Mode to Overlay
Adjust Sharpness, Sharpen
Highlight top layer in Palette
Copy and paste the corner tube as a New Layer
Move into position - see the tag
Apply a Drop Shadow of Vertical=1, Horizontal=8, Opacity 30, Blur 15
Make sure the top layer is active
Preset Shapes tool, Ellipse, Line Style Dots, Width 5, Create as a Vector
Gold gradient in the Foreground, Background Null
Draw out a small circle, close to the left edge (same edge as corner)
Objects Align, Vertical Center in Canvas. Convert to Raster
Apply Drop Shadow of Vertical and Horizontal=1, Opacity 40, Blur=1, Colour Black
Duplicate the circle - Effects, Image Effects - Offset. Horizontal=0, Vertical Minus 60, Custom and Transparent checked
Duplicate this layer. Effects, Image Effects - Offset. Horizontal=0, Vertical=120
Close off All Layers except the three circles. Merge the circles Visible
Duplicate the merged circles layer
Effects, Image Effects - Offset. Horizontal=45, Vertical=Minus 45, Custom and Transparent checked
If necessary move a little to the right
Unhide all layers
Add a Symmetric border of 2, Colour White
Select with Magic Wand
Flood fill with gold gradient
Apply Text, watermark and any necessary copyright information
Resize using Bicubic Resampling
